Privacy Policy

1. Who we are

Kartzu is operated by ANSH CONSUMER SERVICES PRIVATE LIMITED (“we”, “us”). This policy explains what personal information we collect when you use the Kartzu website or the Kartzu Android app, why we collect it, and the choices you have. 2. Information we collect

• Account details: your name, mobile number, email address and password (stored only as a secure hash).
• Delivery addresses: recipient name, phone number, address, city, state and PIN code that you provide for deliveries.
• Order information: products ordered, quantities, prices, invoices, delivery status and order history.
• Payment references: for online payments we store the payment reference/status needed to verify and reconcile the transaction. We do not store card numbers or UPI credentials. For cash-on-delivery, payment is collected at your doorstep.
• Business (wholesale) details: if you request wholesale pricing, the business name, GSTIN and verification details you submit.
• Support content: messages, and any images you upload when you contact support or request a return.
• Technical information: a session cookie used to keep you signed in, and standard server logs (IP address, browser type, timestamps) used for security and troubleshooting.

We do not use advertising identifiers, and the app contains no third-party advertising or behavioural-tracking SDKs.

3. How we use your information

• To create and secure your account, and to sign you in.
• To process, pack, deliver and invoice your orders, and to provide delivery updates (including OTP verification where applicable).
• To provide customer support, handle returns, refunds and complaints.
• To verify business accounts for wholesale pricing.
• To keep the service secure, prevent fraud and meet our legal, tax and accounting obligations.

4. Who we share it with

We share personal information only as needed to run the service: with delivery personnel (name, address, phone number, order contents) so your order reaches you; with payment, messaging and email providers that process a transaction or send you an order notification on our behalf; and with authorities where the law requires it. We do not sell your personal information.

5. How long we keep it

Account and order records are retained while your account is active and afterwards only as long as needed for accounting, tax, warranty, dispute-resolution and legal requirements. Support conversations and uploaded images are kept for as long as needed to resolve the matter. When information is no longer required, it is deleted or anonymised.

6. How we protect it

All traffic between your device and Kartzu is encrypted in transit (HTTPS). Passwords are stored as one-way hashes, session tokens are stored hashed, and access to customer data inside our systems is limited by role. The Android app is delivered as a Trusted Web Activity that runs in the device’s browser engine — we do not bundle a custom WebView.

7. Your choices and rights

• You can view and update your profile and saved addresses from your account.
• You can ask us to access, correct or delete your personal information, or to stop using it for notifications, by writing to care@kartzu.com.
• Deleting your account removes your profile and saved addresses; order and invoice records are retained where tax and accounting law requires it.

8. Permissions used by the Android app

The Kartzu app requires an internet connection. It may ask for camera access only if you choose to scan a product barcode, and for notifications only if you enable order updates. You can decline these and continue using the app.

9. Children

Kartzu is a grocery and household-goods shopping service intended for adults. It is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect information from children.

10. Changes to this policy

If we make material changes we will update this page and change the “last updated” date above.
